There is something magical about hand-rolled porcelain, it is as though one could see the artisan carving a story.

Fabricated in Italy, these hard to find pieces resemble handmade Florentine paper with all the perfect imperfections of artisanal art. When ensconcing an ignited tealight, the semi-transparent white porcelain takes on hues of one of my favorite Italian desserts, the creme caramel.
