BOTANICAL SET

As unique as it is elegant, this set of wall art is as much about the beauty of the delicate leaves and burnished gray leather frames as it is about every detail bringing it to life. Pre-made linen mat boards would never offer the look or quality we sought, so we sourced finely woven Belgian linen to painstakingly create a handmade fabric mat with mitered edges a key element in bringing the leather framework into the artwork. The ivory linen is raised above the leaf to evoke a floating sensation as they do not touch the glass, an effect impossible to capture in a two dimensional photo. The frayed edge linen detail has been a Designs by Alina’s signature look since we began to line our jewelry boxes in 2014.

Due to the nature of the leaves, no two pieces are exactly alike but the exquisite look and feel is ever present.
